Seed Ball Making Workshop



A workshop on "seed ball making" was organized by Department of Botany as a part of Nature Club activity on 18th Feb 2020. The session was conducted by Mr. Pranay Juwatkar.The students made seed balls or earth balls, which are marble sized balls made of clay, earth and seeds. These seed balls will be later used to replant areas where the natural flora has been destroyed.




Kokedama Workshop



Workshop on "Kokedama"- A Japanese art of growing plants in a moss covered ball of soil wrapped with a string, was organized by the Department of Botany on 8th Aug 2019. The demonstration was done by Mr. Harshad Ainapure. Students were amazed to see the self contained moss ball sculptures and explored the art of string gardening in this workshop.
