Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan 2026

The NSS Unit marked the occasion with activities that brought volunteers together in a spirit of patriotism, national pride, and unity.

Activity 01

Tiranga Rally

Venue: College Campus, Elphinstone College, Mumbai

The NSS Unit of Elphinstone College organized a Tiranga Rally on 14 August 2026 with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The rally was organized as part of the Independence Day celebrations and witnessed active participation from NSS volunteers.

The programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Samadhan Waghmode and Mr. Girjesh Bharat, who encouraged the volunteers to actively participate and contribute towards promoting patriotism and national unity.

The rally aimed to promote patriotism, national unity, and awareness about the significance of Independence Day among students. The NSS volunteers actively participated throughout the rally and contributed to creating a positive and patriotic atmosphere.

The event concluded successfully, with the volunteers expressing their patriotic spirit and commitment towards the nation.

Activity 02

Selfie with Tiranga

The NSS Unit of Elphinstone College organized a “Selfie with Tiranga” activity on 14 August 2026 as part of the Independence Day celebrations. The activity was conducted with great enthusiasm and witnessed active participation from NSS volunteers.

The programme was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Samadhan Waghmode and Mr. Girjesh Bharat, who encouraged the volunteers to actively participate in the activity and promote the spirit of patriotism and national unity.

As part of the activity, a special photo point based on the theme of Independence Day was created on the college campus. It was decorated with patriotic elements and the Tiranga, giving students and volunteers an opportunity to capture memorable photographs while expressing their love and respect for the nation.

NSS volunteers took photographs with the Tiranga and at the themed photo point. The activity aimed to spread awareness about the importance of the National Flag and encourage students to celebrate Independence Day with patriotic spirit.

The activity successfully created a sense of patriotism, national pride, and unity among the volunteers and students.
