Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata was an Indian industrialist and philanthropist who founded the Tata Group, India's largest conglomerate. He established the city of Jamshedpur. Born into a Zoroastrian Parsi family in Navsari, his family came from Persia, finding refuge in India.
